You'd be surprised that traditional teriyaki sauce comes down to only 4 ingredients - soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sweetener. It's also customizable & buildable!
CRISPY SALMON SKIN
The key to crispy salmon skin is to do majority of the cooking with the skin-side down to render out the moisture until is crunchy!
Wipe down any excess oil from the pan then pour in the teriyaki sauce until it starts to bubble & slightly thicken.
Add the salmon fillets to the pan, moving it around until it's well coated in the teriyaki glaze.
SERVE & ENJOY!
This pan-fried salmon teriyaki can be eaten in a rice bowl, flaked in a fresh salad, or as a protein-packed veggie bowl. Enjoy!
