Creating a sushi party at home is such a fun interactive dinner if you're making them from home. One thing I didn't anticipate about making sushi at home though is how hungry I'd be while learning to roll!

There's definitely a learning curve, at least for me... especially when hanger is starting to set in lol. This is something I really wish I knew the last time I made sushi lol. So it's handy to have ready to go sushi side dishes you can pick and nibble on while you build and roll away.

Sushi is best enjoyed fresh, especially since the rice hardens over time. Store any leftover sushi with raw fish in the fridge for up to 1-2 days max.
Serve cold seafood on ice if it is going to stay out longer than 2 hours.
